At what time this error displayed?
May be, you are using and obsolete version?
First of all, try to get THE LATEST VERSION of DzX2 from our repository!

I have checked the current version.
It works ok with JPG, PNG, GIF, Animated GIF.

1) Give me your big animated GIF for checking!
2) Create a new user "vot" and send me a password for check on-place.

jhoxi, I can not upload YOUR avatar to your site too..
But I have saved another animated gif avatar to your site successfully:
http://www.discuzlatino.com/home.php?mod=space&uid=4

Ideas about the problem:
1) Check for enough disk space
2) Check for maximum upload size in Discuz settings
3) Check for maximum avatar size settings
4) Check for maximum upload size in php.ini

And update your version to the latest snapshot from the repository!!!

I have changed my avatar to another animated gif.
Apache.gif 12.9 KB.

That's ok too.

Then I tried to upload another avatar:
Linuxbottle.gif, 80KB

and have the same error that you described.

So, the problem is really in disk space or upload size!

jhoxi Publish time 2011-09-21 22:00

Disk Space? in my host or discuz space.
2)Check for maximum upload size in Discuz settings <-where is the option?
3)Compruebe la configuración para un máximo de tamaño de avatar <-where is the option?
4)Check for maximum upload size in php.ini <-I'm not very good with English, sorry pliease
