Discuz and Mysqli

Does discuz supports mysqli ?

cuz there is a friend installed it on mysqli but after finishing installation the site and admin panel just an white page !!

I may be wrong, but I see no information about MySQLi in docs...

MySQLi support appeared only in Discuz!X 3.1 release 2013-09-23.
I still did not tried this driver

If you have a problem with this driver,
First of all you must check if your host supported MySQLi,
and then check the php error log for corresponding error records...

I'm on latest build from discuz .. I've seen mysql in config and changed it to mysqli but the same problem

Well , the owner of the site who has the problem told me that it is not just a white page

the site opens but like no style ,, checked data folder premessions

Question : if i installed discuz on mysql server and host now working with just mysqli .. Can we conver database to work on mysqli !?

You must understand that YOUR DATABASE STAY THE SAME!!!
Only php driver changed from mysql to mysqli.

In other words we are changing the database function library, but the database is NOT modified.
So you can install two different discuz (the first with mysql, but the second with mysqli driver) working with the same database
