you gonna be kidding: private on google code? there's no thing like private svn at google - anybody can get in.

ok, but that's kind of utopia, same as, for example, nulling Discuz. Yes, it won't report to the developer right away, but as soon as search engines index your discuz site, everyone in the world will know it's discuz.
same thing for google.code: anyone skilled will find it right away.
one thing you are right about: nobody is likely to look for it specifically, so you will be relatively safe with that.
