Edited by Mypaper at 2015-1-9 10:04

How can I convert the GBK format of a template to UTF8?

I already have a template in GBK format for DISCUS x3.2 as follows:

I want to use this template with DISCUS ML x3.2. When I instal it on DISCUS ML x3.2, I see it on the screen as follows:

I talk it over with my friends in codersclub forum in order to help me solve it.

Can one turn it to utf8 format?I want a format compatible with DISCUS ML x3.2.

Dear Valery
Thank you for your guidance
Should I encode any type of file in the template; such as .xml , .css, .html , and .php ?

Let me do it, and then if there is still a problem I would report it and please help me to solve it.

Use Notepad++ -> Format -> Convert to UTF-8 (without BOM)

For all files.

Dear jaideejung007

I deeply appreciate the time and effort you’ve spent in this problem.

I got your package has been decoded, and I've installed it on localhost and live website.

As can be seen at the following address problems still exist

Before installing the template

After installing the template

Do you have another suggestion for solving this problem.

I am confused and do not know why the problem appears.

Can anyone solve this problem

What is your problem? Your question/request was about encoding. If you mean some elements that are hidden (e.g. navbar), you have to "convert" this theme from original version to multilingual.

There are two different things.

Thank you kaaleth

Is this a problem in some areas of website, such as navigation, has been created due to the difference between the original version with the multilingual version?

I did not know which theme (utf8) is designed for the original version of Discuz is not compatible with the multilingual version.

Do you recommend that I create a separate thread to solve this problem? And we do not discuss it in this thread?

Exactly.

It doesn't matter.

Most of templates available in discuz store aren't compatible with multilingual version. You have to compare code in DEFAULT ML template and yours.

Sure, because we started to talk about second thing.
PS. You can use this topic. :)
