PHP Version too low, can't install X3

Tried few different servers, always showing the message below, no matter what PHP version on the server

PHP version is too low

For normal functioning Discuz! requires for more new version of PHP
• 5.2.14
  

Any Solutions? thanks in advance!!!

One question:
i checked original "install" file of Discuz 2.5, from Discuz.com.
they set min PHP version req. for installing Discuz, on 5.1 !
why Codersclub set this on higher version? (5.2)

I have got chinese version X3 installed on the server

did vot setup higher php version requirement?

because I can even install on my local server which is running by ComenzEXP X3 beta

on my local server with ComenzEXP the php version is 5.2.19

the message that I got is

PHP version is too low

    For normal functioning Discuz! requires for more new version of PHP
    5.2.17


You must solve the above problems, before the installation can continue.

If I good remember, vot changed requirements about PHP.

As far as I remember, this was made because of the original code does not work on my hosting,
(PHP 5.4.16),
and because of PHP v.5.2 is so obsolete and even does not supported by developers...

May be I was wrong....
I even do not remember what exactly was changed...
Try to find in changelog WHEN that requirement was changed...
