Can you remake GeoIP functions to support Discuz! X Normal version, please...

What does geoip does by the way?

Discuz have a built-in feature to determine the visitor country using the visitor IP address.
But that feature have some disadvantages:
1) It is only Chinese.
2) It is binary.
3) It can not be translated
4) It is not updated by years
5) It is not open source

Discuz!ML used another tool for detecting a visitor country instead of that non-convenient Chinese tool.
The tool is named "GeoIP" and developed by maxmind.com.
Advantages of GeoIP:
1) It is free!
2) It is open source
3) It can be translated
4) It is updated every month
5) It have an official documented API for different programming languages

Is this enough?

VOT ; is it possible to let say copy some file from ML to Chinese version and make GoIP work?
IF not could you give a tutorial on how embed the maxmind on the discuz and how to remove that Chinese binary code.

I have no time for dig all the code again...
If you want, you can compare Chinese and ML packages and make a code hack for original discuz...
