1) Of course, Discuz have some vulnerabilities.
But the Discuz developers does not publish that vulnerabilities descriptions,
because of the afraid of alot of Discuz sites will be hacked

2) Not Discuz but your host can have a vulnerabilities or some malware uploaded...

3) You can easily upgrade your engine using this instruction:
