cool! what about geo information in the database? i've got chinese names for locations in my personal settings.
would prefer to have them in english if not in native.

p.s. by the way, you geoip solution shows all country names in english, whatever l;anguage i choos on your site, or whatever locale i have on my computer.
i've got it different at stfly.ru - countries are shown according to the labguages selected.
i don't remember what tweak i used, but it's built in into rc release (not the latest one), you can pick it up on stfly.ru if curious.

I have built a Geo location database for country/state/city.
But it is not convenient ro use in X2 because of a lot of cities in every state
I need to add an additional sub-division level like county, so the levels can looks like this:
country/state/county/city|village

No. Country displayed in used by user language.
Every language pack contain the country list translated.
But for now country translation is made only for RU,FR,AR

I think it maybe better to simply remove it.

The information is provided by Chunzhen(纯真), and updated very often. Maybe many countrys still do not have this service.
