Hello people,

I have just noticed that Discuz Team released another Discuz version called R20190622. More information abour release you will find here:

https://www.dismall.com/thread-73-1-1.html

or there

https://gitee.com/3dming/DiscuzL/attach_files

I didn't realize that they moved to another project called dismall and I don't understand why these infos has been displayed under administration control panel. It looks like, it has to be official release.

I am also not sure, if it is not Lite or Fan release (or both or none of these), so I am going to try it out. I also coudn't find any changelog for thee release.

The latest official Discuz!X code is placed in their official repository:
https://gitee.com/ComsenzDiscuz/DiscuzX.git

You can see in that code /upload/source/discuz_version.php
that the latest release is 20180101.

I asked a new discuz team from dismall.com WHY they have a different release number than in gitee.
They answered that they just downloaded the latest snapshot from the repository and changed the release number manualy.

As I can understand from some tals at dismall.com the original Discuz developer (Comsenz Co.) Comsens have sold their product to the Chinese IT giant tensent.com.

Unfortunalely Tensent have lost his interest to Discuz!X, the development team was broked up.
And as a result, Tensent released Discuz!X into a free swimming but at the same time disabled the use of the comsenz.com domain name, and refused to support the old forum and the application store at discuz.net.

Next, a group of Discuz fans decided to continue supporting of Discuz on their own, and created an alternative site dismall.com. However, they could not pick up and restore the entire Discuz information base (forum posts, plugins, templates, open development platform, cloud platform, etc.), it seems that Tensent refused to transfer all that materials to them...

So a new "official team" is not the original team, it is an alternative fan group.
And I am not sure that they will be able to develop professionally this popular in the past product.

I have wrote them a detailed letter about CodersClub and Discuz!ML.
I have offered them a collaboration in updating Discuz!X and promoting the product at the international market.

But unfortunately I see no interest from Discuz Team to this idea
