1. in FlashFXP there is no option called copy, so only move back from ''old'' folder again, but you mean is copy, I download full old folder from hosting www root directory, called backup to local driver.

2. upload ALL the files/folders from inside the "upload" folder, do you mean overwrite all exist original official Chinese version of Discuz?

3. If yes, then can process next step, If no, how to process next step?

Did you read the instruction I told before???


1. You must have old files at the site.

2. Upload new version with overwrite old files.

3. Upload ONE FILE: /utility/update.php TO /your_site_root/install/

4. Run Browser: http://your_site/install/update.php

please help me, I did everything by you told, but still unsuccessful installed or upgraded.

I upload all files to hosting root overwrite with old files, and Run Browser: your_site/install/update.php

but what hell happen is jump to your_site/install/install/

as you can see duplicated /install/install/ with none successful install or upgraded.

what I did wrong or what the file wrong?

1) Restore your old site as it was before!
2) Give FTP access to your site to any member who is ready to help and is trusted by you.

hello, I search on google hardly, and the only problem I think is didn't config database connection properly. so the installer looking for install again and again.

unlucky, I  delete all files from hosting, but better lucky is I make a backup to local driver. now I will try local overwrite with Discuz Multi-Language version and upload again, then see what will happen, this is takes ages to wait.

I will post result today or tomorrow if successful or not, thanks.

If your "Chinese" site had not many content,
may be it would be better to not restore old site but CLEAN it.
And then install ML version into the EMPTY site.

If UCenter also needs multilingual, it needs to be configured with "uc_server/data/config.inc.php". And make sure that the language package is under the language folder (the ML version has been included).
