Unable to change timezone

My colleague spotted that the time on my site is incorrect. I tried changing the time zone to match my location but it doens't change the time on the site no matter which timezone I set.

Is this a bug or am I not doing it right?

I am making the changes in the admin page > Global > Site Date/Time settings on the left.

Please help!

You still did not say, what the TmeZone is set at your server!
I think it must be set to PDT (Pacific Daylight Time Zone) but NOT to PT (Pacific Time Zone).

Check the next:
1) What the time/timezone is set at your server (where your site is hosted)
2) What the time/timezone is set at your forum settings
3) What the time/timezone is set at your profile at that forum

Compare that times with a real time...

Sorry. I should have explained completely. My server is set to Pacific Time so as my website time and profile time


I am able to change the timezone but there is a difference of 1 hour from the actual server time. The Website time is 1 hour behind the actual time no matter which timezone I set on the server, website and profile.

Something to do with summer time? Not sure........
