How to put side banners

I want to put two banners in each side. See the image below to understand what I want.

I have no idea where is the specific files that I need to edit... There is too many files and I don't know which is the right...

It is not required to edit templates for add banners.
Try to use built-in advertizing features:
AdminCP -> Extensions -> Site Advertizing
and then -> Advertizing -> Global Couple Advertising
