How to create custom data fields form for every new thread

see screenshot, whenever user start a new thread,
I want them to fill in some data in the form,
how to do it?

So... let's go!

Go to Forum -> Forums -> Forum types

and create a category of topic.

Go to Option management -> Type A (or other - if you want)

and create a special form for your topics.
Add all the fields required for this category.
Set the field type as you need (text, radio, select, etc.).


When the form is done,
we have to add our forms to this category,
so click on "details" for more.



Select type (default A) and check all fields.



You can configure them (for example make as Required).

Now. Back to your forum.
Forums -> Your Forum -> Edit -> Other -> Forum categories

There is a built-in tool for add custom fields for some forum categories (thread types).
But I still not tested it
AdminCP -> Forum -> Forum types

You can try it and make an instruction for us  - how to use it...
