National buttons for all the languages

А если я не использую штатные пункты меню, добавляю свои, можно ли прописать в ланг-файлах перевод для каждого из этих пунктов?
Я так понимаю, нужно просто использовать переменные типа nav_
А как узнать какому пункту меню присвоена какая переменная?

There is a field "identifier" in the pre_common_nav table.
Set a value to the "identifier" field for your navigation link,
i.e. "my_beautiful_nav".
Then add a line into /lang_tepmlate.php:
'nav_my_beautiful_nav' => 'Моя замечательная ссылка',

I have yet another idea:
What about replacing some of original graphical buttons with pure CSS styles?
CSS enable to arrange any textual button with round corners, gradient background, shadow, etc...

3) Some images like stamps can NOT be converted by previous methods.
There is only one solution for such type images - to redraw image and place it inside the each language pack.

Yes, of course.
But I'm not sure that this is required for ALL images...
