Modify default language

How can the site to open the default language is English.
Now open the site is Simplified Chinese.
I should modify the configuration files?

OK, That's right.
I mean is multilingual, but default is displayed English.

I want midify defalse language from simple chinese to English.But I don't want to disable the language switcher .
