how to change the language? the previous solution didn't work.

I installed discuz 2.5, it is simplified Chinese, I tried to change it to English, but can't find the way.
I saw there was a previous thread in thie forum mentioning change the config_global, change the language to English, I tried that, but it didn't work. Can anybody advise me how to do that?

1) What the release/revision?
2) Did you downloaded English language pack?

I downloaded the discuz 2.5 simplified Chinese GBK version, released on 20120701. I can't find a subversion here.
Didn't download the English pack, can you tell me where to download?

I downloaded the language.rar, editor.rar and js.rar  using this link: http://www.discuz.eu/thread-474-1-1.html

and put them in the right location.

but I still see the system come up in Chinese. Do I need to reload something?

Please download DiscuzX2.5 International edition using by TortoiseHg. Then, download a english language pack.

Try to update cache from AdminCP.

jennyding, official DiscuzX can use only single SC/TC language.
If you want to use single English language, you have to download the package from any site like discuz.eu.

But if you want MULTIPLE languages, you have to get the Discuz INTERNATIONAL from our public repositories.
