Not Saving Smiles i upload. pls see screenshots.

i upload the smiles in the correct folder.it is showing them but is not saving them.what to do.i type the name in the blank box and submit but nothing happens....Help..

see....the blank boxes just do not keep the names.and no names means no smiles.......

You are using an obsolete and buggy release that is not supported allready.
Just try to use the latest release.
Look at the bottom of this page:

i want to upload a folder of similes i have .it shows the folders location but does not saves the name....

Step by step procedure.
  • Create folder in the cpanel.
  • Go to
    1. yoursite.com/Discuzx2/admin.php?frames=yes&action=smilies&operation=import
    Copy the Code

  • You should now see an empty box with link to your new folder. Refresh the page if you can't find the new folder. I have named the folder i created as 'Test'
  • Click on the empty space in front of the link to your folder and name it as you want it to be displayed to the members, as shown in the screenshot here.
          
  • After giving your name, Check the box where it says 'enable' and then click on submit.

    If that redirected you, it means your host is placing adds on your sites.
    Also, glad that your problem is solved
