Guide to download a full discuz

Hi Guys, i gone thru alot of thread and different discuz web about the discuz cms forum.

Appreciate if anyone can help to share the end to end link for me on where i can downlaod a proven working script for:

Discuz - Latest version.
Ucenter - Latest version with multilingual - english version.

Do we need to install Ucenter first in order to install DIscuz?

You have to download DiscuzX2.5ML from repository. Then do this same with language packs. All URLs you can find here: http://codersclub.org/discuzx/fo ... &extra=page%3D1

Install only DiscuzX2.5. UCenter will join automatically.

i dont understand what is the tool about in order to grab and to download the file..do you able to advise?

Your steps:
--- clean discuzx2.5ml ---
1. Download and install TortoiseHg
2. Create new blank folder.
3. Right click -> Clone on your folder.
4. In "source" field paste link  and click "clone":

Copy the Code

--- languages for dx2.5ml ---
5. Create another blank folder
6. Right click -> Clone on your folder.
7. In "source" field paste link and click "clone":

1. http://code.google.com/p/discuz-lang/

Copy the Code

You will get DiscuzX2.5ML and all languages for it. Finally, go to your language folder and copy your own lang(s) (en, ru, de, pl etc.) into ...forum/source/language

Thanks for your great offer but we prefer repository features (it's really useful for security updates and others changes) .

yikjaan, you have confused and turmoiled the file names!

If you so like the Stone Age technologies and prefer to use downloadable links, please RENAME your files!!

1) It is NOT Discuzx25. but DiscuzX25ML!!
2) People can not understand WHAT THE RELEASE is this?
3) People can not understand WHAT THE ML REVISION is this?

So, it would be nice to rename your files to something like this:
discuzx25ml_rel20121101_rev85.zip

And do not forget to do the same after every new revision in both repositories!

Hi Vot,

Apologize for the wrong naming convention.

I am just here to help. People that non technical like us is hardly to grab the file from the repository.

I will rename it and to modify the link.
