Hi vot,

Would you release the Discuz WYSIWYG Editor so we can use it with other Forum softwares (like Mybb and so on)?
I think you can do it, you are a Discuz Guru, and you know everything about it.

Looking forward to your answer.
Thanks.

Would you release the Discuz WYSIWYG Editor

What kind of editor do you mean?
If the existing Discuz!X WYSIWYG Editor is not enough?

Sorry, I didn't explain myself very well.
I mean to use the default DiscuzX WYSIWYG editor in other forum softwares like Mybb...
I tried to isolate codes that are used to call and generate the editor, but I found a lot of difficulties due to my little knowledge. This why I asked you to make us a WYSIWYG editor (from DscuzX default one).
The default DiscuzX WYSIWYG editor is a powerful stable editor better than all used in paid forum softwares (xenforo, vb, IPB...).
I think it won't be difficult for you.
Maybe you can add this Editor (if you creat it) to your products.
Thanks

I think it is not so good idea...
Because of the Discuz editor IS NOT "a powerful stable editor better than all used in paid forum software".
It is better to look for any more suitable and more power editor.

Try to search something like "10 best wysiwyg editors"...

I have an idea.

All the European search engines (like Google, Yahoo, etc.) can NOT help to find something interesting from China.
But there is a lot of interesting Chinese web-products, and the Discuz is only one from such type examples.

I suggest to create our own Classified List of Chinese Scripts.

I mean it's the best between WYSIWYG editors that use bbcode and not html.
I tested all major wysiwyg editors of paid software forums, they are based on ckeditor or tinymce. These ones have huge size (which means a lot of time to load) and unuseful options for a normal forum.

And there are only 2 decent indepandant WYSIWYG editors (using bbcode): SCEditor and WysiBB. But I think they can't be as stable as the Discuz one.

Discuz Editor is a lightweight WYSIWYG editor that uses bbcode and not html, which means more security, it has all basic options needed and a nice style. And I think it would be more simple to adapt (with your help of course ) to forums than ckeditor or tinymce.

I suggest to create our own Classified List of Chinese Scripts.

It's a good Idea.

I Know 3 interesting Chinese WYSIWYG editor: xheditor, Kindeditor and Baidu editor. But the first one (xheditor) is the only one that support bbcode (ubb for Chinese).

Okey, No problem Vot.

I found a Russian editor, that seems good: WysiBB. I'll give it a try.

Thanks and sorry for disturbance.

I used to "extract" Discuz's WYSIWYG, but some feature can't work correctly
