solutions against spam?

Has someone any solutions against spam? Look at my old forum, shock!

There is no captcha but I suppose that many forums have security code but it doesn't work.

Correction: The captcha code itself is working ok!
But the Anti-Spam effect of such type code is very low,
because of most of captcha are easily hacked by spam-robots...

What about this forum (coddersclub)? There are security code and math question, but from time to time we have some spam bots.

I think there is no 100% effective anti-spam tools
But some tools are more effective than others.
I.e. some community-driven black-lists can reduce the spam amount very much...
I'm talking about something like stopforumspam.com
