the X3 checkip bug

once we open the  config/config_global.php   
change the $_config['admincp']['checkip'] = 1; to $_config['admincp']['checkip'] = 0;
clean cache

then the site is down, can not login, can not logout, can not register

then I tried change the 0 back to 1
and cleaned caches, site is still down
then I tried delete the caches under /data/cache/
and clean cache again, the web is still down

can you help me find out what is going on


PS:X2.5 same problem

Where are your screenshots?
What the site?

I have simulated the situation at my site, all works ok...

I see only one problem when registering:
Captcha image does not displayed.

Can not check login/logout, because of have no account...

You have only ONE posting,
so the simplest way to fix the problem - it is to REINSTALL the engine.

Yet another idea:
Disable the Captcha temporarily.
