How to shift forum to sub directory?

I am thinking of adding  a blog to my site and so was thinking of moving the site from the root folder to /forum folder.
if i just shift the files will everything work fine as usual????
or will i have to do something.????

You will have a problem:
All the internal links (inside a content) will cause an error 404 (Not found).

It would be better to just install a blog into the folder "/blog".

something like re building old links or something.....
cause i want the blog to be the main site ..

and codersclub.org/discuzx

Of course, you can fix this problem, but only MANUALLY
1) Backup your database
2) Edit your database backup: change old links to new links
3) Import your edited backup into your database.

But my opinion is still the same:
It is better to NOT TOUCH your old site, but create a new folder for a new engine.

Aww...
changing links manually of 16000+ posts means ill go old before they are finished...
well ill try something else then...maybe another domain will do.
