Optimisation of IO usage.

My website is taking time to connect and loading very slow.

When asked the hosting company they told to optimise the IO usage as the script is exceeding IO usage.

Wanted to ask is that, How to optimise it?

I think, in general you can not optimize a script input/output usage because of you are not a developer of that script.
But you can upgrade your server or just change a hosting company

I think you have to ask them regarding details about specifically which process is burning your input/output usage.
